I especially want to thank my dear friend Kavinda Jayawardane for his heartfelt wish. His words meant so much and will always stay with me.

A heartfelt thank you also goes to Thilanka, a Yala Wild Coast Ranger, who recognized my love of nature and gifted me an amazing photograph of two magnificent leopards! It’s now a centrepiece in my home and brings me so much joy to look at everyday.

My birthday was spent where I love – amid nature and incredible wildlife. This was my kind of party, being surrounded by trees and the sounds of the wild with my camera in hand.
