The Name of Wonder: A Cub's Tale..
In the heart of Yala National Park, a year apart on 07/4/2023 I witnessed the miracle of a leopard cub’s journey, around two weeks old cub with its mother Sarah in a tree hole .This time, it wasn’t me, but a fellow nature lover, who spotted the growing cub beside its mother, Sarah at the same location.
Now, with the privilege of naming this cub bestowed upon me, I ponder: what name befits this cub, whose existence intertwines with mine in this dance of chance?
In the end, I know simplicity reigns supreme. I love to dub this cub with a name that would spark its life in the wilderness, a testament to the enduring beauty of nature’s creations.
